Kartik month is believed to be the eighth Lunar month of the Hindu calendar. According to the Gregorian calendar, the month occurs between October and November.
It is observed according to two ways in the Hindu calendar 2022. The first method is that the Lunar month marks its existence between Purnima and Purnima which is called the Purnimanta calendar, whereas, in a different method, the Lunar month is observed by the date of Amavasya through Amavasya and is referred to by the Amanta calendar. - Kansa Vadh This day, Lord Krishna beat the evil Kansa, and then Ugrasena was declared to be the King of Mathura.
- The Devutthana Ekadashi. This ceremony is intended to please Lord Vishnu since Devutthana Ekadashi is among the main Vrats associated with Ekadashi.
